We miss him,
Not because of speeches
he had yet to make
But because of the amazing conversations he had everyday with everyone he knew
We miss him,
Not because of the great things he had yet to do
But because of the great things he did
Everyday for everyone he encountered
We miss him,
Not because of the daring adventures
He had yet to take,
But because of the daring way he lived his life
With integrity, courage and a relentless
Commitment to helping others grow and
Become better individuals
I miss him,
Not because he was the one
Who got away,
But because he was the one
Who never left my heart.
